Bentley Motorsport sobre hielo
Bentley Motorsport forma parte del GP Ice Race 2020 en Zell am See (Austria) con el Continental GT. Después de la historia reciente de Bentley de establecer récords de velocidad de hielo en 2007 y 2011, el Continental GT con motor W12 ha continuado la herencia de alto rendimiento de Bentley sobre hielo en el espectacular evento de exhibición que tuvo lugar entre el 1 y el 2 de febrero de 2020.
El Ice Race Continental GT rinde homenaje a su compatriota del Pikes Peak International Hill Climb en 2019 y comparte el mismo motor TSI de doble turbocompresor W12 construido en fábrica. La unidad de 6.0 litros ofrece 635 CV, 900 Nm, un tiempo de aceleración de 0 a 100 km/h de 3,7 segundos y una velocidad máxima de 333 km/h. El vehículo cuenta con cámaras de aire, sistema de control antivuelco activo de 48 V y frenos de hierro.
La piloto del Campeonato Mundial Junior de Rally, Catie Munnings, ha tomado el volante del Bentley Continental GT en Zell am See. La ganadora del FIA European Rally Championship Ladies Trophy, ex presentadora del programa de televisión CBeebies Catie's Amazing Machines e hija del ex piloto de rally Chris Munnings, ha sido la primera mujer piloto de la era moderna en competir competitivamente para Bentley Motorsport.

Bentley Motorsport is part of the GP Ice Race 2020 in Zell am See (Austria) with the Continental GT. Following on from Bentley’s recent history of setting Ice Speed Records in 2007 and 2011, the W12-powered Continental GT is ready to continue Bentley’s heritage of high performance on ice at the spectacular showcase event in Austria across the weekend of 1/2 February 2020.
The Ice Race Continental GT will be running in livery that pays homage to its record-breaking compatriot from the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 2019 and shares the same factory built W12 twin-turbocharged TSI engine. The 6.0-litre unit delivers 635 PS (626 bhp), 900 Nm (664 lb.ft.) , a 0-100 km/h time of 3.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds) and a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph). The car’s three chamber air springs, 48V active anti-roll control system and iron brakes are entrusted with the cool running of the Bentley Continental GT on the purpose-built ice track.
The World Championship Rally Junior driver, Catie Munnings, has taken the steering wheel of a Bentley Continental GT at Zell am See. The FIA European Rally Championship Ladies Trophy champion, ex tv show CBeebies Catie's Amazing Machines presenter and ex rally driver Chris Munnings daughter, has been the first women driver of modern era to compete professionally for Bentley Motors.
